The pieces, of which some were created just for the exhibition,  are influence by "color" and the "sentiment of summer". They represent a broad spectrum of different media - ranging from photography, painting and collage to installation and sculpture. The poem Summer Song (ca 1917) by American poet William Carlos Williams accompanies the artworks and served at the same time as an inspiration for the exhibition.
