Summer in Berlin! Oh the season of long outdoor day parties and riding back home amidst dramatic thunderstorms... It seems like June is the new May in Berlin with not one, but two project space festivals around town. This year's international edition of the Project Space Festival Berlin will take place under the title "When The Hunger Starts" from June 1-30th at public places in Berlin that change daily. Visit their website for more info. It is fun!

The new kid in town is B-LA CONNECT - it is new which why we forgive statements like this "It understands itself as an international cultural exchange on a grass roots level".  In June 2019, 20 art spaces from Los Angeles will exhibit in 22 art spaces from Berlin. The following year, in 2020, the Berlin art spaces will travel to LA for a return visit. See program and more details here

And of course Tropez opened their summer show last week in the old public pool in Humboldhain- a self proclaimed love poem to the pool visitors. It presents works of art addressing the encounters of the pool guests with each other, the sensation of the surrounding park, and the body as a coveted object of desire. If you post a selfie with the pictured Dullart's installation on IG with the #yourbodymonamour you will receive a poem in the comments ( or 28...)
