20.00 Uniglory @ REH Kunst

WHY: Uniglory is a performative sculpture and collaborative piece by Caroline Bayer, Janine Eggert and Chryssa Tsampazi. Coincidentally one of the artists has a birthday on the evening of the performance, which is expected to turn into a celebration with drinks and special DJ mixes by Amateurboyz.

20.00 Dissident Desire: 4th Archive Activation with artists of ff and SNACK HATOBA @ District

WHY: The 4th activation of dissident desire is an evening of live performance, poetry reading and visual realizations of personal desires. In this show artists´ perspectives on eroticism will meet with a Japanese 60s style Snack Bar where those who feel confessional can gather and talk about their problems, hopes and dreams.

WHY: Another great summer festival lineup - this time nowhere near the dancefloor, unless avantgarde jazz is the kind of music that really gets you moving.  We will stick to the convential way of sitting on a chair while enjoying the unconventional sounds by Peter Brotzmann, Chris Corsano, Ikue Mori, Mats Gustavsson, Thurston Moore and many more.

WHY: Not concentrating on a specific stlye of electronic music, this festival aims to present the best of everything. Which means - prepare your dancing shoes as well as a pair of earplugs for 3 different shows by masters of their craft: Fennesz, Dopplereffekt and Frank Brentschneider. Add to that visuals to complement the sounds and an extended list of DJs.

WHY: DJ collective Urban Mutations and Festsaal im Exil present a night with Bok Bok, Dj MFK and Dj Wen. An interesting new addition to the exciting multi-stylistic bass music is Janitor - a pseudogenerative video system developed by artists Harm van den Dorpel and Jonas Lund.
