Unfolding Modernisms (for future thoughts)

Bringing together four artists who have consistently anchored their practice to the critical revise of the tropes of modernism as a cultural stratification vital for the present social and artistic context, this exhibition reexamines the possibilities of visual discourses to become platforms for small shifts of perception of a reality defined by an equivocal hyper-transparency and ubiquity. Through a variety of media (from painting to sculpture and video), Diego Santomé, João Marçal, Marlena Kudickla and Regina de Miguel guide the viewer to confront with questions still open in the need to fulfill or alter prevailing narratives.

An exhibition curated by Miguel von Hafe Pérez.
