This summer Galerie EIGEN + ART Berlin and EIGEN + ART Lab are presenting the group shows on paper. Form July 11th through Augst 10th at the gallery and until Augst 24th at the lab. Sketches, watercolours, collage and foldings will be on display and focus on the medium of paper in contemporary artistic practice.
Different conceptual and processing methods of the participating artists show that paper is more than a ground for skeches and mindmapping it is rather an important element for the artistic work; a starting point for ideas and visions.
At Galerie EIGEN + ART, Auguststraße 26, we show work of our artists:
Akos Birkas, Birgit Brenner, Marc Desgrandchamps, Martin Eder, Tim Eitel, Nina Fischer/Maroan el Sani, Stella Hamberg, Christine Hill, Jörg Herold, Uwe Kowski, Rémy Markowitsch, Maix Mayer, Ryan Mosley, Carsten Nicolai, Olaf Nicolai, Ricarda Roggan, Yehudit Sasportas, David Schnell, Annelies Štrba.
At EIGEN + ART Lab, Auguststraße 11-13, we will show works by artists that we already worked with:
Katie Armstrong, Isabelle Borges, Sven Braun, Laura Bruce, Osvaldo Budet, Jürgen Mayer H., Melora Kuhn, Ken Nakazawa, Lada Nakonechna, Kai Schiemenz, Kristina Schuldt, Carsten Sievers, Alexander Tinei, Shonah Trescott, Mirjam Völker.
