Hofskulptur #4, Andreas Koch

After Jürgen Drescher, Claudia Kugler and Stephanie Kloss, Peter K. Koch is the fourth artist to use the bus stop sculpture as an exhibition space.

He contrasts Andreas Koch's scenographic realism with abstract forms by installing several monochrome triangles on the front of the sculpture, thus pushing different visual worlds of thought into one another. On the one hand, through the intervention he emphasizes the BVG stop's own formal quality with its spatial and surface interplay, on the other he reduces it to the concrete and real of simple triangles that independently overlap the structure of the sculpture.
