Collective Unconsciousness is my Playground

An exhibition within the event 'What can we learn from populism?', with an opportunity for casual debate during subsequent reception & exhibition, curated by Gabriela Seith

The dimensions the flood of images can reach nowadays have a devastating extent, as Melih Sarıgöl brings to our attention with his works. Collective Unconsciousness is my Playground is an examination of mass media pictures placed at disposal concerning their effectiveness and how we deal with them. Individuals vanish and merge in the depicted masses of Sarigöl’s paintings and videos shown in the exhibition.

From 10 am until 6 pm, as during the event on 11. January 2017 until 11 pm
