Solo presentation by Ingo Mittelstaedt
Ingo Mittelstaedt will be presenting his large pedestal work for the very first time. Using an area of about 400cm x 500cm x 40cm the artist will be showing a series of photographs that were taken at museums of art history and that are linked to reference material – second-hand books, acquired pictures and findings from nature.
With this presentation that Mittelstaedt exclusively designed for the abc he once again is able to dissolve institutional attributions of meaning and challenges the spectator to make an own decision in terms of the equality and discrepancy of the objects on exhibition.
