What Did I Miss/ What Did I Not Miss 28.02 - 01.03

The title of a punk song "Give Us The Future" by the British band One Way System is the motto for this exhibition, and I would like to say that it was a total punk show indeed, but... The audience was dressed too expensive, behaved too well, and the lo-fi performance went unnoticed because the chit-chat overpowered the performer's shouting over the megaphone. I could not even tell what was it all about...
Congratulations to Galerie Pavlova! On Friday the gallery officially opened its doors, with a great exhibition and in a lovely atmosphere. The displayed photographs conveniently portray the artist's children with costumes and animal masks - plus points for subtly, and maybe even incidentally, celebrating Fasching.
The amusingly chaotic and quirky drawings and paintings by Daniel Thurau shined bright on the dark walls of this small Mitte gallery that I discovered very recently. This show convinced me to follow their program in the future, and definitely pay more attention to this artist with a great sense of humor.
