What Did I Miss/ What Did I Not Miss 06.12 - 07.12

You might as well skip the Christmas Markets and have your Glühwein fix at openings, and we might as well focus on reviewing this omnipresent winter drink. See where we had a glass or two last week to keep up with the trend.

Ute Klein @ Centrum

Centrum was a place to make friends, thanks to the lovely host who didn't let her guests come in unnoticed. Always appreciated Gluhwein made the atmosphere extra friendly and even the concept of the show was very much about interaction. The work was on sale but in pieces - with 10 euros you could own one, and perhaps have a unique Christmas present (+10 for the idea!). Apparently a lot of pieces were sold and maybe I would also get one for myself and somebody who would appreciate it if I wasn't certain that it would have a short and painful life in my hands on a Friday evening.

Endoambivalenz Christmas / Plastikové Våanoce @ Kwadrat

As gallerists and openings are winding down for a winter break, Glühwein is a welcome stand-in for the usual Malbec, and Kwadrat’s seasonal selection was no exception. Paired with a Christmas gingerloaf, their latest opening was the perfect celebration of the fresh snow, fresh mittens, and fresh faces back in town for the holidays.
