WHY: This Wednesday Katermarkt has its first night edition, which gives it a potential of turning into a party. The usual fleamarket will be musically accompanied by Mexican Joe, one of the pillars of the Cumbia scene, and Lotti, a disco voodoo priest of international format. The market will also include drinks, food & many many more.

18.00 Book Release by Hannah Gelderman and Jim Grilli @ Agora

WHY: In Book Release Hannah Gelderman and Jim Grilli have engaged in a collaborative process to explore the definition of what it means to make, read, and experience a book. During their residency the two artists have produced a multitude of works on paper and a written text that they intend to bind in a book. At the opening reception the viewers will be asked to arrange the loose pages of the text as well as original prints, drawings, and collages in an interactive sculpture, and thus participate in the process of reaffirming the importance and tactility of objects in a digital age.
