WHY: So long, farewell, auf wiedersehen, adieu... In anticipation of her tour and travels, Molly Nilsson plays goodbye show at the newly renovated and expanded Naherholung Sternchen, with ManMachine and Melissa Livaudais of celebrated pop experimentalists Telepathe. Molly's newest record The Travels will also be available for purchase, which is a cause for celebration in and of itself.

18.00 Poetry of The Absurd – Odyssey of the Lovers @ Mindpirates 

WHY: In August 2012 400 participants came together on an idyllic island outside of Berlin for an ambitious musical jam session, uniting 100 international musicians and running non-stop for 24 hours. Now, a year later, they re-examine the infamous occasion drawing on the filmic and photographic documentation of the event, to present an exhibition, film, and cultural event series exploring the universal themes of utopias, dreams and visions, rituals and gatherings, humans and nature.

10.00 Meret Oppenheim @ Martin-Gropius-Bau

WHY: Berlin is dedicating a first major retrospective to Meret Oppenheim to mark the centenary of the famous artist's birth. Starting out from her much appraised early work in the circle of the surrealists and proceeding to her less well-known poetic late work, the exhibition will show not only drawings, paintings, objects and collages, but also her writings and dream notations as well as her humorous and fantastical jewellery, dress and other designs.
