Music Tips 31.03 - 13.04

The muses must have been real busy lately inspiring Berlin-based gig poster makers. We ain't no curators, but this here is a damn fine gallery... Feast your eyes even if you are away for the holidays and missing all the good stuff here.

PS. Look for the Easter egg!
(Hint: it's free tickets!)

THURSDAY 02.04

23.00 Pender Street Steppers + Physical Therapy + Omer + Criese @ Chesters

WHY: Great poster surely means great party, right? We will rely on this method and judge the rest based on the appeal of it. The cutest we have seen in a while! Not that more words are needed, but we will say anyway: expect some dancey summery easy breezy vibes for the chilled party crowd this Thursday at Chesters, with Pender Street Steppers, Physical Therapy, Omer and Criese.

FRIDAY 03.04

21.00 Charlie Megira + Rancune + The Diegos @ Westgermany

WHY: Charlie Megira + Rancune + The Diegos sound something like 60s rock'n'roll + 80s synth-wave + rockgaragepoppowerpoppunkrocknroll. Great combo playing Friday night at our favorite Westgermany, and we even have 2 tickets to give away -- follow our Facebook feed for more info.

Westgermany / Skalitzer Str. 133, 10999 Berlin, U Kottbusser Tor / more info

21.00 Casual Rodeo: Fyoelk + Lolito + Wilted Woman @ Bei Ruth

WHY: Go this way for „night of loopy noichno confused bzzcore ding dong house. 4 true rodeoheads only.“ – whatever that really means. „50% laser poodle 100% bass tumbleweed (Fyoelk), „vip airline terminal boudoir techno“ (Lolito), „handy ringtone trance remix“ (Wilted Woman)… If sceptical, click the links and give it a hear, it all sounds pleasantly experimental and very very good.

SATURDAY 04.04

23.00 Apostille + Happy Meals + Molly Nillson + Better Person @ Sameheads

WHY: Apostille is the recording and performing project of Michael Kasparis. Having started as a home-damaged pop music, Apostille has grown into a live-wire synth punk prospect. Happy Meals aka Suzanne Rodden and Lewis Cook will be adding some pop to that synth. Molly Nilsson and Better Person will be DJing for the afterhours.

All that in a DJ set sandwich by Ben Jackson, in the popular Neukölln club Loophole.
