THURSDAY 13.11

19.00 "4 Days On The Ocean“ – Release Concert @ Lehrter Siebzehn

WHY: Visual artist Xaver Hirsch and music producer Oliver Gehrmann present "4" – a project which combines electronic sound constructions with visuals and interactive storytelling for a unique live performance. What is most special about it is active inclusion of the visitors into the storyline. Game up your usual concert adventure, and don't forget to accredit on the passagier list until Thursday at 13h latest.

Lehrter Siebzehn / Lehrter Straße 17, 10557 Berlin, S Hauptbahnhof / more info

19.00 FEED Frequencies111314: Grischa Lichtenberger + Ketev @ KW Institute for Contemporary Art

WHY: FEED Frequencies returns to KW for a complete sound program featuring Grischa Lichtenberger (raster-noton) and Ketev (Opal Tapes). The thinking men and women should surely get a kick out of Grischa Lichtenberger's harsh yet emotionally deep sound designs, and enjoy the ride through Ketev's murky post-techno territory.

KW / Auguststr. 69, 10117 Berlin, U Rosenthaler Platz / more info

21.00 Molly Nilsson Record Release Show + After Party W/ Facit (Live) + DJs Dubais, Rroxxymore, Molly Nilsson and S/L @ Chesters

WHY: A concert and party in celebration of the release of Molly Nilsson's first ever 7", which comes with two new songs. Following a DJ set from Dubais and live sets from Molly and Facit, there will be an after party with DJ sets from Rroxymore, Molly Nilsson and Shameless Limitless. All this will take place fittingly at Chesters aka Kit Kat Club's original location.

Chesters / Glogauer Str. 2, 10999 Berlin, U Görlitzer Bahnhof / more info

FRIDAY 14.11

21.00 Shabazz Palaces + DELS + Falko Teichmann @ Kantine am Berghain

WHY: Experimental hip-hop project is the simplest way to describe Shabazz Palaces. The duo seriously confused the world with their two records, both of which are said to be the top hip-hop albums in the last decade or so. No surprise then that the show is long time sold out.  If you did not get your ticket on time, it is definitely worth checking for the last minute offers.

Kantine am Berghain / Rüdersdorfer Str. 70, 10243 Berlin, S+U Warschauer Str. / more info

SATURDAY 15.11

21.00 Aidan Baker + Andrea Neumann + Marie Dior @ NK

WHY: Noise, experimental, contemporary, improvisation - sounds like your avantgarde-flavored cup of tea? Many other musical influences are to be found in the sounds made by Aidan Baker, Andrea Neumann, and Marie Dior; from shoegaze to classical and jazz. We take full responsibility for the claim that this will be a truly exciting evening for all sorts of music freaks.

NK Projekt / Elsenstr. 52 (2.Hinterhaus Etage 2), 12059 Berlin, Bus 171 / more info

22.00 Blackest Ever Black @ Urban Spree

WHY: It's Blackest Ever Black's fourth annual label party - and the first time the label is celebrating its birthday in its current base in Berlin. It follows last year's blow-out in London featuring Prurient, Tropic of Cancer, Regis, Source Direct, Horsepower Productions & many more. For this more intimate gathering, William Bennett will perform live as CUT HANDS, along with Stuart Argabright and DIÄT,  plus DJing by RAIME, NINA & special guests.

Urban Spree / Revaler Str. 99, 10245 Berlin, S+U Warschauer Str. / more info

MONDAY 17.11

21.00 Steve Hauschildt + tba @ ACUD MACHT NEU

WHY: Steve Hauschildt - founding member of the electronic music trio Emeralds, known for their unique cosmic sound - performs with his solo project at ACUD. He has always considered himself more of an artist than a musician, and his show is expected to be as much a visual experience as an aural one. For an instant launch into deep space, try out this wonderful mindtrip.

ACUD MACHT NEU / Veteranenstr. 21, 10119 Berlin, U Rosenthaler Platz / more info

WEDNESDAY 19.11

20.00 Trans Am + Majeure @ Kantine am Berghain

WHY: The twenty-year-old Trans Am do not really need introduction, but let us make it clear for all - this name in music equals "cerebrally robotic, usually instrumental, semi-danceable, minimalistic" music by the more or less post-rock trio. If you're not into vocoders, skip this one. If you're into good clean (maybe slightly intoxicated) fun, see you in the first rows.

Kantine am Berghain / Rüdersdorfer Str. 70, 10243 Berlin, S+U Warschauer Str. / more info

THURSDAY 20.11

20.00 Monolake + Ame Zek @ Volksbühne

WHY: Robert Henke's Monolake stands apart from other projects exploring the adventurous sides of electronic music, distancing from the techno hype of the early 90s. His live shows are certainly not rare occasions in Berlin, but each of them is justifiably followed by big excitement. This time at Volksbühne, you will  get to see it along with electronic live improvisation by Ame Zek, one of the featured artists within CTM's Berlin Current initiative.

Volksbühne / Linienstr. 227, 10178 Berlin, U Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz / more info

21.00 Asbjørn @ Bang Bang Club

WHY: The young Danish electro prince Asbjørn arrives to Berlin to present "Call Me By My Name" - the final single from Chapter Two of his album release marathon. Starting in February 2014, he released one video each month slowly unraveling the four-track EP Pseudo Visions: Chapter One.  Again, with four songs and four videos in four months, he tells a story that leads up to release of his full sophomore album "Pseudo Visions" in early 2015.

Bang Bang Club / Mehringdamm 61, 10961 Berlin, U Mehringdamm / more info

FRIDAY 21.11

22.00 Polymorphism x PAN @ Berghain

WHY: This evening brings together artists with recent (and upcoming) releases on PAN, the label which fully embraces the radically open aesthetic of today’s music and art. Analogue synthesizer explorations, noise, improvisation, computer music & sound installations all have their place here, as do abstract (and not) dance music journeys, rave deconstructions, and non-standard all-nighters.

Berghain + Panorama Bar / Am Wriezener Bahnhof, S+U Warschauer Str. / more info

22.30 Mac DeMarco After Party w/ Djs Juan Wauters (Captured Tracks, NYC) + Thieves Like Us (Captured Tracks, Berlin) + Jason Harvey + tba @ Sameheads

WHY: "Mac DeMarco in Berlin" and "sold out" go hand in hand, but worry not, for Berlin's favorite indie showoff will show up at Samehead for the afterparty with some other great people - Juan Wauters, Thieves Like Us, Jason Harvey, and even some more. Plus, it is a well known fact that afterparties are better than parties anyway.

Sameheads / Richardstr. 10, 12043 Berlin, U Karl-Marx-Str. / more info

SUNDAY 23.11

18.30 Morrissey @ C-Halle

WHY: Every day is like Sunday, silent and gray, especially when it actually is Sunday and you did not get your ticket to Morrissey concert on time. For this event calibre, there are always some extra tickets you can buy from the more entrepreneurial individuals who will probably rip you off, but hey, it is good old charming man Morrissey, and maybe this time you get to catch the bouquet of wilted flowers or his sweaty shirt.

C-Halle / Columbiadamm 13-21, 10965 Berlin, U Platz der Luftbrücke / more info
