April 8–10 is a busy weekend in Milan. 154 galleries from 16 European countries and more than 60 curators gather at Fieramilanocity to present masterpieces, unique objects, contemporary design and young talents' creations. MiArt is the international fair of modern and contemporary art of Milan, organized by Fiera Milano and directed by Vincenzo de Bellis.

“During these four years, MiArt has followed a path towards extreme quality" – says Vincenzo de Bellis, Artistic Director of MiArt since 2013. – The basic ideas behind its new identity, which is a reality by now, have always been dialogue between artists of different generations, internationalism and the internationalisation of Italian art, both modern and contemporary.”

On Thursday the 7th of April, MiArt opened its back door for a sneak peek with a restricted list of international VIPs: collectors, professionals and museum directors. Italian photographer Louis De Belle went by and quickly captured a series of witty impressions from this year's preview.
