We're giving away 1x2 festival tickets - email us at editors@bpigs.com with your name + GIVEAWAY in the subject line.

From December 8-10 at Berlin’s HAU 2, a series of concerts, installations, performances, videos, and discussion events of various formats will be held to showcase female electronic music artists who are transforming and performatively interpreting electronic sound today at the highest levels of pop, experimental and classical electronic music.

This year's festival surrounds two main focal points; Beatriz Ferreyra and Christine Groult, two composers associated with the Groupe de Recherches Musicales (GRM), who evolved experimental analog sound and also Cathy Berberian, the most significant pioneer of vocal practice in the 20th century.

Concerts in this year's edition include the theremin goddess Dorit Chrysler, conceptual musician Lucrecia Dalt, as well as doom-folk songstress Perera Elsewhere, the multi instrumental Sofia Härdig, and an experimental set from the sound artist JD Zazie. Other sound/light performances will include the installation of SHIROSHI from Miako Klein which will be presented for the first time to the public as a part of the festival.
